We have moved. Our new 9,000sqft facility is up and fully functional. The additional space will allow us to spread out a bit, acquire some needed machines, and take on larger projects.
In an effort to keep current with our expanding customer base 74 Weld has moved to Solidworks 2014. We still accept older files and are currently working primarily in Solidworks 2013, but can accept new 2014 drawing files.
The purchase of a Prototrak 1630 lathe with a Dorian 8 position Turret is enabling us to to provide our customers with rapid turn around on more complex lathe work.
Our 3’x5′ precision granite inspection table now has a new 24″ Brown and Sharpe Tesa Hite Gage sliding around its surface.
Delivery of a shiny new Haas VF2ss equipped with all the bells and whistles including both 4th and 5th axis capabilities.
The purchase of a Prototrak DPM 5 will add to our expanding rapid prototype capabilities. This new machine also enables us to run slightly larger parts than the DMP3.
Our fabrication capabilities are expanding with the addition of several new welders as well as a fume extraction unit
