It is important to identify your steering rack before purchasing a 74Weld steering upgrade kit. Current options from the factory are Hoss 2.0 and Hoss 3.0 and are determined by vehicle trim.
Every Bronco and Ranger Raptor comes stock from the factory with a Hoss 2.0 steering rack except for the following models:
– 2023+ Wildtrak
– Bronco Raptor
If you are unsure, there are physical differences you can look for.
From the front driver wheel well, look to see where the steering yoke meets the steering rack. There is a cover on the steering rack. If it is black plastic, you have a Hoss 2.0. If it is aluminum, you have a Hoss 3.0.
