The Currie Portal set includes the acclaimed Currie 44 front and 60 rear axle assemblies paired with 74Weld four-gear bolt on portals. This is the ultimate axle package designed to bolt right into the JK/JL/JT platform giving you all the benefits of a Dana 60 knuckle, ball joints, and axle shafts. The full 35 spline units are designed to tackle the toughest off-road trails and obstacles, giving you the confidence to push your vehicle to its limits.

The Currie 44/60 Hybrid Portal Axles are complete bolt-in axle assemblies with all required brackets and mounts in place. The vehicle’s factory rear driveshaft will require modification or replacement to accommodate the larger 1350 series u-joint and 60 series housing. New 8-lug wheels are required.

Brakes: For the JK Portal Axle package, you must also purchase the Wilwood Aero6 Front Brake Package. Factory brakes are NOT compatible.

Front Axle Disconnect (FAD): This axle assembly eliminates the factory FAD and requires a computer programmer, such as the Tazer Mini or Tazer Lite, to disable the factory sensor and turn off the FAD warning message

Wheel Bolt Pattern and Offset: Requires 8 x 6.5 (8 x 165.1 mm) bolt pattern wheels. We strongly recommend a 25 mm positive offset (approximately a 5.5-inch backspace)

Overall Width: The axle width with portals installed is 73.25 inches. The effective overall width with a 25 mm positive offset wheel is 71 inches.

Vehicle Lift: If using the factory height suspension or a leveling kit without bump stop spacers, an aftermarket track bar is required to clear the differential cover. The RockJock 4×4 track bar RJ-9120FJLF provides ample clearance.

Tie Rod: Does not include tie rods, but we recommend Steer Smart PN:78076001.

Tire Size: Up to 42-inches
